Dit brengt vervelende bijwerkingen met zich mee. Uit onderzoek in 2008 blijkt dat 82% van de vrouwen die behandeld worden tegen borstkanker cognitieve klachten ondervinden: slechter geheugen, slechte concentratie, niet helder kunnen denken enz. Daarnaast is er vaak sprake van neuropathie \u2013 pijn, gevoelloosheid, tintelingen in vooral de ledematen.<\/p>\n<p>Een 62 jarige vrouw met borstkanker is met neurofeedback getraind met als doel de vervelende bijwerkingen van de behandelingen te verzachten.\u00a0 In twee weken tijd heeft ze 30 neurofeedbacktrainingen gedaan (30 trainingen in twee weken is heel veel, soms zelf 3x per dag. Dit wordt over het algemeen niet geadviseerd maar in haar geval kon het niet anders).<\/p>\n<p>Voor en na de trainingen zijn metingen gedaan (EEG\u2019s) om te kijken hoe er getraind moest worden en om, na afloop, te kijken of er verbeteringen zichtbaar zijn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resultaten<\/strong>: verbeterde slaap, verbeterde balans, minder neuropathische\u00a0 klachten. De verbeteringen zijn op de tweede hersenmeting zichtbaar. Zeven maanden na afloop van de trainingen blijken de verbeteringen bij haar nog merkbaar en zichtbaar bij een hernieuwde hersenmeting.<\/p>\n<p>Een zogenaamde \u2018case-studie\u2019 (een studie van 1 persoon, zonder controle en\/of placebo groep) is misschien wetenschappelijk gezien niet zo bijzonder maar deze mevrouw is er wel duidelijk van opgeknapt \u2013 en dat is waar het om draait!<\/p>\n<p>Uit: <em>NeuroRegulation 2016<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Behandeling van verschillende vormen van kanker gaat vaak gepaard met Chemotherapie en met operaties en dus zware narcoses.
